There being no response to the Mayor's call for testimony, the <br />hearing was closed. On motion of CounciLman Hubbard seconded by Councilman Gilmore <br />and carried, an Ordinance approving Amendment Application No. 405-A was passed to <br />second reading without further reading. <br /> <br />Mayor Hall opened the hearing on Amendment Application No. 410 filed by the Planning <br />Commission considerin~ amending Sectional District Map 12-5-10 reclassifying property <br />generally bounded by 8th, 10th, Ross, and Flower Streets from the R-2 District to the <br />R-3 and/or R-3-H and/or R-3-H-B District. Planning Commission recommended approval <br />according to Exhibit A.A. #410-A. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by <br />Councilman Schlueter and carried, Council received and ordered filed a petition with <br />17 signatures recommending that the professional zoning be included. Mrs. Bernice <br />Reynolds, 832-4 No. Ross, reed a statement requesting the inclusion of P zoning, Mrs. <br />Frances Farris, property o~mer at 1001 N. Parton, registered a protest against re- <br />zonimg for apartments, stating that the area warranted zoning for businesses. There <br />being no further testimony, the hearing was closed. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, <br />seconded by Sehlueter and carried, an Ordinance approving Amendment Application No. <br />410-A was passed to second reading without further reading. The Planning Co~aission reco~waended approval <br />according to Exhibit A.A. 41lA. There being no response to the Mayor's c~ll for <br />testimony, the hearing was closed.
