HEARING <br />ZONING ORDINANCE <br />AMENDMENT <br />FRONT YARD REGULATIONS <br />CA-10 <br /> <br />to Exhibit A.A. #415-A. There being no response to the Ma~or's Call for testimony~ the <br />hearing was closed. It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Brewer <br />and carried, that action be postponed until October 15, 1962, ami the matter of dedicatiSn <br />in the area be investigated. <br /> <br />Mayor Hall opened the hearirg on a Planning Commission proposal to amend ~ection 9243, <br />Subsection (b) and ~ection 9243, Subsection (j) on the Zoning Ordinance regarding front <br />yard regulations. There being no response to the M~yor's c~]1 for testimony, the hear- <br />ing was closed. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman $chlueter and <br />carried, an ordinance approving the proposed amendment was passed to second reading <br />without further reading. <br /> <br />HEARING <br />APPEAL APPL. NO. 69 <br />c.U.P. NO. 114 <br />CA-13 <br /> <br />Mayor Hall opened the hearing on Appeal Application No. 69, continued from September 4 <br />and 17, 1962, an appeal of the Planning Commission's denial of C.U.P. 114, application <br />for an increase in occupancy of a guest rest hc~e at 2032 .~. Cypress. Council heard <br />testimony from James Vanderfc~d, 2032 $. Cypress, applicant. There being no further <br />testimony~ the hearin~ was closed. It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Coun~ <br />cilman Gilmore and carried, that revised plans submitted September 21, 1962 be approved <br />and that a resolution overruling the Planning Commission's decision and approving the <br />application for 12 guests be adopted without further reading. RECORD OF <br />SURVEY NO. 280 <br />cA- 5 <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried, Prelimina~ <br />Record of Survey No. 280 filed by Rand Development Co., Inc., creating two lots located <br />on the east side of Bristol Street approximately 100 feet nurth of Central Avenue, was <br />approved subject to conditions set forth in Planning Director's report dated September <br /> <br />26, 1962. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />STREET CONSTRUCTION <br />C.U.P. 73 <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueterand carried, Council <br />authorized execution of an agreement with H. L. Gutsch for street improvements required <br />as a condition of approval of C.U.P. 73. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />JR. CHAMBER OF <br />COMM~CE ANNUAL <br />FROLIC <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried, Council <br />authorized execution of an agreement with Santa Aha Junior Chamber of Commerce to pay <br />$2,000 toward the cost of holding the Santa AnaAnn~,~] Frolic. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />CONCESSION <br />MUNICIPAL BO~L <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried, Council <br />authorized execution of an agreement with Donald E. Hall, granting an exclusive concession <br />to vend peanuts and other merchandise to the patrons of the Santa A~a Municipal Bowl for <br />a period ending January 1, 1963. Councilman Brewer voted "Nov on the matter. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />PURCHASE OF <br />SYSTEM <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by ~Ouncilmen Sehlueter end carried, Council <br />authorized execution of an agreement with Tustin Water Company for the purchase by the <br />City of Santa Ana of a portion of the system located on Tustin Avenue between 4th and <br />17th Streets and on Fruit Street between Tustin Avenue and Mabury Street for $2500. <br /> <br />A~REEMENT - PIPELINE <br />A.
