RESOLUtiON 94-060 2?5 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Conditional Use Permit No. 94-2 <br />August 15, 1994 <br />Page i of I <br /> <br />Will the proposed use provide a service or facility which will contribute to <br />the general well being of the neighborhood or the con~nunity? <br /> <br />This project will revitalize an old property and when completed will <br />continue to provide a service to the motoring public by providing a <br />facility where their cars can be washed and detailed. The <br />rehabilitation of this site will contribute to the general well being <br />of the neighborhood and the community. <br /> <br />Will the proposed use, under the circumstances of the particular casa, be <br />detrimental to the health, safety, or general welfare of persons residing or <br />working in the vicinity? <br /> <br />There is already a full service car wash and auto detailing taking <br />place at this location. This projec= will legalize the auto detailing <br />by locating this use within a struc=ure enclosed on three sides and <br />will also relocate the vacuuming operation for the car wash - which is <br />currently au=side of an enclosed building - inside the existing car <br />wash structure. These changes should reduce any noise impacts to <br />adjacent residential property. Since the car wash ham resided at this <br />location without any known complaints from the community, this uae ia <br />not anticipated to be detrimental to the health, safety or general <br />welfare of persons residing or working in the area. <br /> <br />Will the proposed use adversely affect the present economic stability or <br />futura economic development of property in =he surrounding area? <br /> <br />This projec= will take a deteriorating property and help revitalize its <br />operation. Site appearance will be enhanced at the completion of this <br />project. Therefore, this project should contribute to the economic <br />stability or future economic development of the surrounding area. <br /> <br />Will the proposed uae comply with the regulations and condi%lons specified in <br />this chapter for such a use? <br /> <br />The proposed car wash will comply with all regulations and conditions <br />specified in the Santa Aha Municipal Code pertaining to car wash <br />establishments. <br /> <br />Will the proposed use adversely affect the General Plan of the city or any <br />specific plan applicable to the area of the proposed use? <br /> <br />The addition of two de=ail bays =o an existing car wash will not have <br />an adverse affect on the General Plan land uae designation of General <br />Business District (GBD).
