331 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 94-072 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO <br />AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO EFFECT CERTAIN CFJuNGES TO THE <br />CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN, AND TO <br />AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO REALLOCATE CERTAIN <br />POSITIONS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the <br />City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and <br />maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil <br />service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and <br />adopted Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the <br />Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and employees of the City <br />of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 5, 1994, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Ordinance No. NS-2225, which establishes the City's budget, <br />authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 1994-95, and which <br />sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocations of <br />authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council; <br />and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, routine maintenance of the Basic Classification and <br />Compensation Plan and/or the findings of various classification and <br />compensation studies reveal the need to effect certain changes to <br />the Plan and to reallocate certain positions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend Resolution No. 82-110 and <br />the Fiscal Year 1994-95 Budget in order to effect these changes. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br />1o That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended by: <br /> <br /> a. Adding in proper alphabetical sequence, the new <br />classification title of Community Development Technician at Salary <br />Rate Range No. 543, $2950-$3586 per month. <br /> <br /> <br />
