<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Brewer and carried, Council
<br />authorized execution of a release acknowledging payment of drainage assessment fees for
<br />property at the northwest corner of McFadden and Sullivan Streets.

<br />received and ordered filed the independent auditors' report of examination of city
<br />accounts for year ending June 30, 1962.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Brewer and carried, Council
<br />received and ordered referred to the City Attorney and Insurance Carrier, a claim for
<br />damages filed byRudy M. Vaughn, 611 Lido Park Drive, Newport Beach, for $38.53 in
<br />damages to auto allegedly caused by City vehicla.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by CouncilmanBrewer and carried, Council
<br />approved merit salary increases recce~ended in the City Manager's report dated Novmaher
<br />14, 1962 to becmue effective December 1, 1962.

<br />City Council request the Orange County Board of $upervisors to place in their
<br />for 1963-64 the development of that portion of Fairview Street that lies in County
<br />territory.
