On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Co~lc~lmmn Brewer and carried, the hearing was continued to February 4, 1963, 7: BO p.m. in the Council Chamber, Santa Ann City Eall. ~EARING - ZONING The Mayor opened the hearing continued ORDINANCE AMENE~S from January 7, 1963, on Zoning Ordi- nance Amendments proposed by the Plan- ning Commission in Resolution NO. 559B. There being no response to the Mayor's call for testimony, the bearing was closed. ORDINANCE NO. NS-635 AMENDING, ADDING OR REPEALING PORTIONS OF PARTS 1, 3 and ~ OF CNAPTE~ 2, ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNrO~PAL CODE DEALINO WI'fa LAND USE RE~ULAT~0NS was introduced by title. It was moved by Councilman Eubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter an~ unanimously carried, that further reading be waived and Ordinance No. N8-635 be passed to second rea~ing. E~,ARING - ROB~NSON Mayor wall opened the hearing on Appeal APPEAL 79 79 filed by Billy W. Robinson from the Zoning Administrator' s denial of V. A. 1715 to permit less than required side yard setback for a garage addition on R-1 property at 1515 N. King Street. The Clerk reported that evidence of giving proper notice of the hearing was on file in the Clerk's Office an~ that no written protests or objections had been received. Council heard testimony from the applicant an~ Mrs. Robinson, and from Mrs. Fred Pimantal, 1509 N. King, w~o stated that she had no object- ions to the variance application. ~aere being no further testimony the hear- img was closed. It was moved by ¢ou~ci~m-~ Gilmore, seconded by Councilman Brewer an~ carried, that the Council overrule the action of the Zoning Administrator an~ instruct the City Attorney to prepare a resolution granting Variance No. 1715, subject to any applicable conditions.
