368 RESOLUTION NO. 96-007 Page 2 3. provide for a one percent (1%) salary reduction for all PERS non-sworn "miscellaneous" management employees, effective July 1, 1997; and 4. provide for a ten percent salary reduction for the middle- management classification of Public Works Maintenance Manager (MM), upon the separation of the current incumbent; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, be further amended by deleting the classification of Fire Battalion Chief (RM) from this Resolution, to transfer it to Resolution No. 91-066. 2. That Resolution No. 91-066, as amended, is hereby further amended, as follows: a. That Subsection 3B, as amended, is hereby further amended to: 1. add the existing classification title of Fire Battalion Chief at the monthly 5-st~p salary rate range M690 ($6050-$7355) effective November 1, 1995; and to designate said title as unrepresented middle-management by adding the parenthetical identifier "MM" following the class title. 2. adjust the pay level assigned to the classification Public Works Maintenance Manager (MM) from MM-28 to MM-24 ($5844-$8256), effective on the next day after the separation date of the current incumbent. b. That Subsection 2A, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows: "Section 2. Schedule of Salaries. A. Three separate schedules of salary rate ranges for classes of employment designated as Executive Management (EM), general Middle-Management (MM), and Fire Battalion Chief (MM) are attached hereto and made a part hereof as though set forth in full herein. The schedules for Executive Management classes, general Middle- Management classes, and for the class of Fire Battalion Chief (MM), and their respective effective dates, are as follows: Salary Schedule No. Effective Date Executive Management Classes (EM) EM-1 07-01-91 EM-2 07-01-92
