RESOLUTION NO. 96-030 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND <br />RESOLUTION NOS. 82-110 AND 91-066 TO EFFECT CERTAIN CHANGES TO THE CITY'S <br />BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN FOR OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana requires <br />the City to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service <br />rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 82-110 <br />revi~ing and re-establishing the Basic Classification and Compensation Plan for all officers and <br />employees of the City of Santa Ana; and on July 1, 1991, passed and adopted Resolution No. 91-066, <br />re-establishing the Basic Classification and Compensation Plan for classes of employment designated <br />as unrepresented executive and middle management; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, with the adoption of the annual budget for Fiscal Year 1996-97, the City Council <br />authorized certain organizational, staffing, and compensation changes which affect a number of class <br />titles in the City's Basic Classification and Compensation Plan for classes of employment contained <br />in Resolution Nos. 82-110 and 91-066; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend said Resolutions to effect these changes; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA: <br /> <br />1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is hereby further amended by: <br /> <br /> a. deleting the following vacant and now obsolete class titles: <br /> <br /> Adult Services Coordinator <br /> Assistant Loan Officer <br /> Concrete Finisher <br /> <br /> Council Office Assistant (UC) <br /> Graphics Coordinator <br /> Inspections Training Coordinator <br /> Loan Officer <br /> <br /> Loan Processor <br /> <br /> Loan Underwriter <br /> <br /> Police Information Officer <br /> <br /> Real Estate Assistant <br /> <br /> Real Estate Officer I <br /> <br /> Real Estate Officer III <br /> <br />509 <br /> <br /> <br />
