577 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 96-035 <br /> <br />SPECIAL INVESTIGATION FEE <br /> <br />A special investigation fee shall be charged by the Building Official for any <br />investigation of a building structural work, reports, certification, or any other related <br />work requested by an owner or his authorized agent. Said fee shall be assessed in <br />an amount sufficient to reimburse the City for the costs actually incurred by the City <br />based upon a rate of fifty-one dollars ($51.00) per hour but in no case shall be less <br />than fifty-one dollars ($51.00). <br /> <br />C. VIOLATION/INVESTIGATION & PENALTY FEES <br /> <br />When any work for which a permit is required has been commenced without the <br />authorization of such permit, an investigation may be required before a permit will <br />be issued for such work. An investigation fee shall be assessed in an amount <br />sufficient to reimburse the City for costs actually incurred by the City based on a rate <br />of fifty-one dollars ($51.00) per hour but in no case less than fifty-one dollars <br />($51.00) shall be collected. In addition to the investigation fee and regular permit <br />fee, a penalty in an amount equal to the amount of the total permit fee shall be <br />required, but in no case less than one hundred and twenty-seven dollars ($127.00). <br /> <br />EXPEDITED COPY REQUEST <br /> <br />Whenever a request is received for expedited documentation of a written report, or <br />for records or plans, a fee shall be assessed in an amount sufficient to reimburse the <br />City for actual costs incurred, but in no case shall the fee be less than thirty-five <br />dollars ($35.00). <br /> <br />DEPARTMENTAL APPROVAL FOR BUSINESS <br /> CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY <br /> <br />Whenever a Business License Tax application requires processing by the department <br />for approval of a Business Certificate of Occupancy, a fee of fifty-one dollars ($51.00) <br />shall be paid to the Finance Director when the application is ftled and deposited by <br />him into Revenue Fund 11-417. <br /> <br />Page 45 <br /> <br /> <br />
