RESOLUTION 96-035 <br /> <br />DEMOLITION PERMIT <br /> <br />The fee for a permit to demolish a building or structure shall be based upon the <br />contract price but in no case less than fifty-one dollars ($51.00). <br /> <br />When a building is demolished, the owner shall provide the City with a cash or surety <br />bond as described in Section 8-1768 through 8-1771 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code. For the purpose of lot cleanup and capping of the sewer lateral, the value of <br />the bond is to be established by the Building Official but in no case shall the bond <br />be less than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00)per building. A single family dwelling <br />and garage shall be considered as one building for bonding purposes. <br /> <br />(NOTE: <br /> <br />A demolition permit fee is separate from and additional to the fee for <br />any other permit which may be required by code provisions other than <br />those specifically regulating demolition.) <br /> <br />FLOODPLAIN CONSTRUCTION <br />STANDARDS VARIANCES <br /> <br />The fee for an application for a variance from the floodplain construction standards <br />of the City shall be one-hundred fifty-two dollars ($152.00). <br /> <br />H. APPEALS <br /> <br />The fcc for an appeal to the Uniform Code Appeals Board shall be seven-hundred <br />and seven dollars ($707.00), payable at the time of filing of thc appeal. <br /> <br />RELOCATION INSPECTIONS <br /> <br />The fee for an inspection on a building or structure, as required for its proposed <br />relocation, shall be two hundred fifty-three dollars ($253.00) for each main building <br />or structure and fifty-one dollars ($51.00) for each accessory building or structure. If <br />the buildings or structures to be inspected are outside of the City, reimbursement for <br />mileage traveled at the rate of $0.50per mile and travel time at the rate of fifty-one <br />dollars ($51.00) per hour is additionally required. <br /> <br />Page 46 <br /> <br /> <br />
