RESOLUTION 96-044 <br /> <br />Conditional Use Permit No. <br />April 15, 1996 <br />Page I of i <br /> <br />96-08 <br /> <br />ae <br /> <br />Will the proposed use provide a service or facility which will <br />contribute to the general well being of the neighborhood or <br />community? <br /> <br />E1 Gallo Giro serves the community by providing convenience <br />foods and baked goods for the surrounding co~umercial <br />businesses and residential neighborhoods. The proposed <br />after hours service allows patrons unrestricted access to <br />hot Mexican foods and fresh baked goods. <br /> <br />Will the proposed use under the circumstances of the particular <br />case be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare or <br />persons residing or working in the vicinity? <br /> <br />The proposed late night operations will not be detrimental <br />to persons residing and working in the area. The use, as <br />conditioned, will not create any new impacts on the <br />surrounding land uses. E1 Gallo Giro offers a service when <br />other commercial operations are closed. <br /> <br />Ce <br /> <br />Will the proposed use adversely affect the present economic <br />stability or future economic development of properties <br />surrounding the area? <br /> <br />Allowing the after hour operations contributes to the <br />economic stability of the area by providing additional <br />opportunities for generating revenue. <br /> <br />De <br /> <br />Will the proposed use comply with the regulations and conditions <br />specified in Chapter 41 for such use? <br /> <br />The proposed after hour operations will be in compliance <br />with all applicable conditions of Santa Ana's Municipal <br />Code Chapter 41, upon approval of Conditional Use Permit <br />96-08 and compliance with the CUP conditions. <br /> <br />Will the proposed use adversely affect the General Plan or any <br />specific plan of the City? <br /> <br />The proposed after hour operations will not adversely <br />affect the General Plan. The deli and bakery operation is <br />a use permitted within the General Business District (GBD) <br />designation.
