466 <br /> <br />Finding <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in and incorporated into the project which <br />avoid the above significant effect. <br /> <br />Facts <br /> <br />Future contractors shah implement the following measures throughout construction <br />activities: <br /> <br />* Comply with Rules 401 - 403 of the SCAQMD to reduce onsite dust <br /> levels. <br /> <br /> Periodically apply water and dust superannuates to graded areas. <br /> Cover any hauling fill <br /> <br /> Operate street sweepers on adjacent roadways to remove dirt from <br /> construction vehicles or dried mud carried off by trucks. <br /> <br /> Stabilize disturbed areas if construction is delayed. <br /> <br /> Terminate soil disturbance when high winds (greater than 25 miles per <br /> hour) occur. <br /> <br /> Ensure that all construction equipment shall be maintained in proper <br /> working order. <br /> <br /> Wash construction vehicles each time upon entering public roadways to <br /> reduce dust levels. <br /> <br /> Require 90-day low NOx tune-ups for off-road equipment. <br /> <br /> Limit allowable idling to 10 minutes.
