The use of berms and/or sand bags shall be approved by the City Building Department <br />prior to their use. <br /> <br />Significant Effect <br /> <br />Increased automobile traffic and parking due to the project would result in an increasing <br />concentration in contaminants in storm water runoff. <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project <br />which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect identified in <br />the Final EIR. <br /> <br />Facts in Support of the Finding <br /> <br />Impacts to storm water runoffwill be reduced by the following mitigation measures: <br /> <br />Parkin8 area maintenance and sweeping shall be conducted a minimum of three times a <br />week (without the use of water) to reduce the amount of pollutants entering the City of <br />County storm drain system. <br /> <br />Significant Effect <br /> <br />Both short-term construction impacts and long-term operation impacts from site runoffmay <br />adversely affect water quality. <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project <br />which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect identified in <br />the Final EIR. <br /> <br />Facts in Support of the Findin_~ <br /> <br />Construction and operation of the proposed project would require the applicant to apply for, <br />obtain and comply with permits that will reduce the potential impacts to less than significant levels <br />through the following mitigation measures: <br /> <br />Should any project generated sediment be deposited in either the City and/or County <br />storm drain system, the project developer shall immediately remove the sediment from the <br />storm drain system to the satisfaction of the City of Santa Ana Public Works Agency <br />and/or the County of Orange Flood Control District at his cost. <br /> <br />The project developer shall file a report with the City of Santa Aha Public Works Agency <br />and the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) which complies with the <br />National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for stormwater <br />discharge, including the full description of the discharge and the demonstration of <br />compliance with EPA specified effluent limits.
