Don Franklin, 2450 Riverside Drive, spoke on behalf of the applicants, requesting approval, citing the many apartments in the area and extensive usage other than single f-m~ly residences, the fact that the City Planaing staff is on record as favoring R 3 zoning in the area, ~ that no one actively opposed the rezoningo Sixteen persons in favor of the rezoning were present in the audience. There being no further response to the Mayor's e~ll for testimony, the hearing was closed. It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter, that the Council overrule the reco~emiation in Pl~-nning Co...ission Resolution No. 5604 and grant the reclassification according to Exhibit AA 431-B.
