Changes will occur <br />with excavation and fill activities for the construction <br />of building pads. Potential impacts will be mitigated to <br />a level of insignificance through implementation of <br />Mitigation Measure No. 1. <br /> <br />Mitigation Measures/Monitoring <br />Mitigation Measure No. 1. <br /> <br />Required: Same as <br /> <br />Although the project site is adjacent to the Santa Ana <br />River, no changes will occur to the river bed or banks. <br />No project specific impacts are anticipated· <br /> <br />Mitigation Measures/Monitoring Required: None required. <br /> <br />During construction of the project, wind and water <br />erosion of soils on the site will increase. This is a <br />short-term impact occurring only during the construction <br />phase of the project. Construction related erosion can <br />be mitigated to a level of insignificance through the <br />implementation of the following mitigation measures: <br /> <br />Mitigation Measures/Monitoring Required: <br /> <br />During construction, prompt re-vegetation of slopes <br />and landscaped areas shall be implemented. <br /> <br />Possible water erosion during construction shall be <br />mitigated by the installation of temporary erosion <br />control devices. <br /> <br />Utilization of desiltation devices such as sandbags <br />or temporary basins in areas that may discharge <br />into City streets shall be implemented prior to the <br />commencement of grading activities. <br /> <br /> <br />
