REIMBURSE OF On motion qf Councilman Hubbard, seconded <br />STRUT COSTS by Councilman Harvey and carried, Council <br /> approved amendment to payment authorized <br /> by Council on April 15, 1963 in the amount <br />of $2,11~.94 for reimbursement of street costs. <br /> <br />SCHOOL SITE On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded <br /> by Councilman Harvey and carried, Council <br /> received and ordered filed a report from <br /> the Planning Commission approving an <br />elementary school site proposed by the Santa Ana Unified School, to be built <br />in the vicinity of Talbert Avenue and Old Fairview Road. <br /> <br />ZONING & SCHOOL On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded <br />LOCATIONS by Councilman Harvey and carried, Council <br /> received and ordered filed, resolutions <br /> of the Santa Aha Unified School District <br />and the Tustin Elementary School District relative to zoning and its effect <br />upon the schools. <br /> <br />MERIT SALARY INCREASES <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded <br />by Councilman Harvey and carried, Council <br />approved merit salary increases recom- <br />mended in the City Manager's report <br />dated May 15, 1963. <br /> <br />ALONA PARK BASEBALL Wanda Holloway, 1936 N. English Street, <br /> protested the continual playing of <br /> baseball in Alona Park, which is <br /> directly behind her property. She <br />stated that baseballs were constantly bouncing into her yard so that she <br />was afraid to sit in her patio; and that recently one had broken her <br />plate glass window. <br /> <br />On motion of Counc~lmsn Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and <br />carried, letters frGn Horace M. Lee and Louis M. Morgan, containing <br />similar protests were received and ordered filed, and the matter was <br />referred to the City Manager for investigation and recommendation. <br /> <br />SANITATION DISTRICT It was moved by CounciLman Schlueter, <br />APPOINTMENT seconded by Councilman Harvey and unanimously <br /> carried, that Vice-Mayor Royal E. Hubbard <br /> be named as Alternate Director to Orange <br />County Sanitation Districts Number l, 2, 3 and 7. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS <br /> <br />From Activity 51-285 to 51-258 <br />From Activity 51-255 to 51-256 <br /> <br />On motion of CounciLman Hubbard, seconded <br />by Councilman Harvey and carried, Council <br />granted request for Inter-Activity transfer <br />of funds as follows: <br /> <br />$170.00 for emergency replacement of light <br />standard damaged by vandals. <br /> <br />$650.00 for inadvertent decrease of <br />encumbered funds in January revision of budget. <br /> <br />City Council - 109 - May 20, 1963 <br /> <br /> <br />
