386 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Operational Area Agreement <br />supplants the existing UNIFIED ORANGE COUNTY-CITIES DISASTER <br />AGREEMENT dated July 14, 1981, and which was entered into by the <br />City of Santa Aha on September 21, 1981; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA: ... <br /> <br />3 o <br /> <br />Hereby adopts an Agreement between the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, and all other Political Subdivisions in <br />Orange County to form an Operational Area for the <br />purposes of emergency preparedness, response, and <br />recovery as required by Title 19 of California Code of <br />Regulations Section 2400 et seq. and Government Code 8550 <br />et seq.; and <br /> <br />Recognizes the County of Orange as the lead agency for <br />coordinating Operational Area emergency management <br />activities; and <br /> <br />Appoints the City Manager to serve as the City's <br />representative on the Operational Area Council, with the <br />Emergency Services Coordinator serving as the alternate; <br />and <br /> <br />withdraws from the Unified Orange County-Cities Disaster <br />Agreement to which the City became a party on September <br />21, 1981; and <br /> <br />Authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the <br />Operational Area Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />
