No impacts are anticipated. <br /> <br />Mitigation Measures/Monitoring Required: None Required <br /> <br />The proposed project is located within a historic <br />district in downtown Santa Aha. The General Plan Land <br />Use Element, Historic Resources Map identifies the <br />project area as a historic site. Since currently no <br />historical buildings exist on the site, there is a <br />potential for grading operations to uncover historical <br />remains that could provide information important in <br />prehistory. Additionally the site is located in an area <br />of archeological sensitivity. Implementation of the <br />following mitigation measure from the Land Use Element <br />will reduce this impact to a level of significance. <br /> <br />Mitigation Measures/Monitoring Required: <br /> <br />18. <br /> <br />The City of Santa Aha shall require the monitoring <br />of grading operations by a qualified archeologist <br />when the site is reasonably suspected of containing <br />such resources. If, as a result, evidence of <br />resources is found, the property shall be made <br />available for a reasonable period of time for <br />salvage or known archeological, resources by <br />qualified experts, organizations or educational <br />institutions. <br /> <br />de <br /> <br />The project area is not known to be significant to any <br />ethnic or social groups.
