$0 <br /> <br /> 4. Permit parking restrictions in the Southside Permit Parking District <br />shall not apply to the side of any street adjacent to any non-residential use or to <br />any multi-family use having more than four dwelling units. <br /> <br /> 5. Persons entitled to a permit to park in locations subject to permit <br />parking restrictions pursuant to this resolution include and are limited to the <br />following: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Any person who is licensed to drive a motor vehicles and who <br />resides in a single-family dwelling located in the Southside <br />Permit Parking District, provided that not more than three <br />permits may be issued at any one time to the residents of any <br />one such dwelling unit. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Any person who is licensed to drive a motor vehicle and who <br />resides in a multiple-family dwelling located on any lot in the <br />Southside Permit Parking District which does not have more <br />than four dwelling units located on it, provided that not more <br />than one permit may be issued at any one time to the <br />residents of anyone such dwelling unit; and provided further, <br />that the Executive Director of the Public Works Agency may <br />waive the foregoing limitation on the number of dwelling units <br />on a lot if he determines that its application in a particular <br />case would cause extreme hardship on the residents of such <br />dwelling units due to a severe inadequacy of on-site parking. <br /> <br /> 6. The Executive Director of the Public Works Agency is authorized to <br />establish rules for the issuance of guest parking permits to residents of the <br />Southside Permit Parking District and to issue or deny such permits in <br />accordance therewith. Such rules shall be designed to limit guest parking <br />privileges as appropriate to provide sufficient parking for resident parking <br />permit holders. Such rules may be revised from time to time as circumstances <br />require. <br /> <br /> <br />
