Resolution No. 19994)75 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />GAS: 11/17/99 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1999-075 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO. <br />99-110, TO SUBDIVIDE AN 11.77 ACRE LOT INTO 12 <br />PARCELS LOCATED AT 618 EAST WELLINGTON AVENUE <br />AND 616 NORTH SANTIAGO STREET (TPM NO. 99-110) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Tentative Parcel Map No. 99-110 has been filed to subdivide an existing 11.77 <br />acre parcel into 12 lots, located at 618 E. Wellington Avenue and 616 North Santiago Street (the <br />"Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the design and improvement proposed for Tentative Parcel Map No. 99-110 is <br />consistent with the objectives, policies, general land uses, and programs specified in the City of <br />Santa Ana General Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Environmental Coordinator of the City of Santa Aha has prepared a <br />Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring Program for Environmental Review No. <br />99-116, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA"), for the Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed public heating, on November 8, <br />1999, on Tentative Parcel Map No. 99-110 for the Project. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Based upon the evidence submitted at the abovesaid hearing, this Cotmcil finds and <br />determines as follows: <br /> <br />The proposed project, as conditioned, and it's design and improvements are consistent <br />with the Industrial land use designation of the General Plan and are otherwise consistent <br />with all other elements of the General Plan and any applicable specific plans. <br /> <br />The proposed subdivision will create 12 parcels from 11.77 acres, including <br />abandon railroad right of way and surplus property to facilitate the construction of <br />9 industrial buildings. The current general plan land use designation of Industrial <br />for the area will not change as a result of the project. The zoning designation of <br />parcel 12 will change from multiple family residence (R3) to Light Industrial <br />(M1) which will bring the zoning into conformance with the general plan <br />designation of Industrial for the area.
