MINUTES OF THE REGULAR M.~3i'ING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />November 18, 1963 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers~ 217 North <br />Main Street. Roll call was answered by Councilmen Harry H. Harvey, ~ames <br />Gilmore, Henry H. Schl~eter, and Vice Mayor Royal E. Hubbard. Mayor A. Allen <br />Hall was absent. Following the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Invocation <br />was delivered by the Reverend Daniel Rider, First Baptist Church. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF ~INUTES On motion of Councilman Harvey, <br /> seccaded by Councilman $chlueter and <br /> carried, the City Council approved <br /> as mailed the Minutes of the Adjourned <br />Regular Meeting of October 21, 1963 held November ~, 1963, and the Minutes of <br />the Regular Meeting of November ~, 1963. <br /> <br />BID AWARD - PRESS & On motion of Councilman Harvey, <br />PLATE MAI(lNG UNIT seconded by Couucilman Gilmore and <br /> carried, Council received and ordered <br /> filed a report of bids received for <br />Multilith Press and Plate Making Unit, Spec. 611-5; and approved award of co~- <br />tract to the one bidder, Addressograph M~ltigraph Corporation in the amount of <br />$7,626.96. <br /> <br />BID AWARD - MOBILE RADIO On motion of Councilman Harvey, <br />UNITS seconded by Councilman Schlueter and <br /> carried, Council received and ordered <br /> filed a report of bids received for <br />eight Mobile Radio Units, Spec. 65~-7; and in accordance with the City Manager's <br />request, postponed the bid award to December 2, 1963. <br /> <br />BID AWARD - Sk~s~PER On motion of Councilman Gilmore, <br /> seconded by Councilman Schlueter and <br /> carried, Council received and ordered <br /> filed a report of bids received for <br />an w-gine Driven Pull Type Sweeper; approved award of contract to A. M. Donaher <br />& Sons in the amount of $1,9~1.00; and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />HEARING - IRVIIiE SU~DMSION Vice Mayor Hubbard opened the hearing <br />ANNE~ NO. i - REVIS~ continued frmaNovember 4, 1963 on <br /> the proposed annexation of property <br /> bounded by Newport Avenue~ Delhi Road, <br />and Red Hill Avenue. The Clerk reported that no written c~ications or <br />objections had been received.
