HEARING - TAXI Vice Mayor Hubbard opened the hearing on the <br />DRIVER APPEAL appeal filed by Marin G. Johns fro~ the Chief <br /> of Police's refusal to iseue a permit to <br /> operate a taxicab in the City. There being <br />no respense to the call for testimony, the hearing was closed. On motion of <br />Councilman Harvey, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried, Council approved <br />the appeal and granted permission to Matin G. Johns to operate a taxicab in the <br />City of Santa Aha. <br /> <br />HEARING - SANTA CLARA Vice Mayor Hubbard opened the hearing on the <br />& ~RIGHT S. E. ANNEX proposed annexatic~ of property at the south- <br /> east corner of Santa Clara Avenue and Wright <br /> Street. The Clerk reported that notice of <br />the hearing was published and mailed as required by law, that evidence thereof <br />was on file, and that no written protests had been received.
