PRE. REC. OF SURVEY 350 Council considered Preliminary Record of Survey 350 filed by Charles Scrofani and others to create four C 2 lots on the east side of Fairview, south of 17th. Charles Scrofani, 1605 N. Fairview, objected to Condition 3 d in the Pl~n~tug Director's report, stating that the three foot street dedication would make planned development impossible unless he could build in the ten foot rear yard setback area. The Planning Director stated that this could only be accomplished by variance procedure. On motion of Councilmen Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried, Council approved Preliminary Record of Survey 350 subject to the conditions in the P!ann~ng Director's letter dated February 26, 1964. On motion of Counc~l-~ Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter aud carried, Council waived payment of the $35.00 fee when the variance application is filed because of the circumstances on the Record of Survey PRE. REC. OF SURVEY 351 On motion of CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Council~ Schlueter and carried, Council approved Preliminary Record of Survey 351 filed by Starer ~ros. to create two C 1 lots on the southeast corner of Edinger and Fairvlew, subject to the conditions outlined in the Planning Director's report dated February 26, 1964. TRAFFIC SIGNAL On motion of Counc~lm-- Hubbard, seconded by Councllm-~ Harvey and carried, Council received and referred to the City Manager for investigation and report a petition with approx~m-tely 119 signatures from Roosevelt School P.T.A. for four-way traffic signals at the intersections of First and Maple or First and French, and First and Orange. ABANDONMENT On motion of Councilm-~ Hubbard, PIPELINE EASemEnT seconded by Councilman Harvey and carried, Council received and ordered filed a letter from John M. Hoy, requesting abandonment of pipeline easement conveyed to City by deed recorded March 30, 1955. SANITARY S~ERS On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried, Council received and ordered filed a c.~.,r..~nication from Orange County Health Officer recommending construction of sanitary sewer facilities as soon as possible in an area bounded by Sugar, Harbor, Fifth and Santa Aha River, excluding C~m~lle between Harper and Jackson; and in an area bounded by Mar-Las Place, Nancy Lane, Huckleberry Road, and Be~rydale and Santa Ann River.
