RESOLUTION 2002-2002 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO <br />EXECUTE ANNUAL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS <br />ENTERPRISE (DBE) GOAL UPDATES <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby, finds, determines and <br />declares as follows: ' <br /> <br />A= <br /> <br />On February 5, 2001, the City Council adopted Resolution 2001-012, <br />approving and adopting a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) <br />Program to be incorporated in projects receiving Federal Highway <br />Administration Funds (FHWA). <br /> <br />The adOpted DBE Program requires the City to submit an annual DBE <br />program'update for approval by Caltrans District Local Assistance <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />The adopted DBE Program designates the Santa Ana City Engineer as <br />the DBE Liaison Officer. <br /> <br />= <br /> <br />The Cit~ .Council hereby authorizes the City Engineer to execute all annual <br />DBE Goal updates required by Title 49 C.F.R., Part 26, for Department of <br />Transportation Assisted contracts adopted by the State of California <br />Department of Transportation <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 7th day of January, 2002. <br /> <br />yorA.
