Health Care Agency, One-Stop Centers. Employment <br />Support, Job Services and Vocational Assessment counselors. The purpose of <br /> <br />this team is to assist the participant to identify and address issues that <br />have prevented the participant from being successful and work towards the <br />program goal of self-sufficiency. The MDT will be bound by the informed <br />consent requirements specified in Exhibit A, Paragraph 7.2. <br /> <br /> 4.9 Supportive Services: Payments provided to or on behalf of WTW <br />participants for child care, transportation and ancillary expense costs. <br /> <br /> 4.10 Welfare-To-Work (WTW): A mandated program under CalWORKs which <br />requires parents or caretakers in families on welfare, unless exempted, to <br />meet work requirements by participating in Welfare-To-Work activities with a <br />goal of unsubsidized employment leading to self-sufficiency. <br /> <br /> 4.11 Workforce Investment Act (WIA): The Federal Workforce Investment <br />Act of 1998 provides the framework for a national workforce preparation and <br />employment system.
