RFP 01-042 4.5 4.6 City Responsibilities 4.5.1 Provide copies of existing electrical system data for each station 4.5.2 Provide copies of available plans on file with the Public Works Agency for Consultant's reference 4.5.3 Provide approved City Title Page for resulting bid documents 4.5.4 Coordinate plan checking and approvals 4.5.5 Provide for reproduction of final documents and plans for bidding purposes Fee 4.6.1 4.6.2 4.6.3 4.6.4 CONSULTANT FEE SHALL BE SEALED IN A SEPARATE ENVELOPE. Fee envelopes will not be opened until all other aspects of the proposal have been reviewed. Consultant compensation shall be on a fixed fee basis. The fee shall reflect the scope of work and program requirements as outlined in this Request For Proposal. Failure to include the total scope of work in the proposal may disqualify the consultant. A statement of proposed progress payments tied to the completion of various milestones in the scope of work shall be included Hourly wage rates charged by principals and employees for extra work shall he included. Should the City require work clearly beyond the scope of this Request For Proposal and resulting agreement, work will be charged according to the wage rates provided herein. 4.7 Commitment 4.7.1 The proposal shall be signed by the individual, or company official with the power to bind the company in its proposal 4.7.2 The contents of the proposal and Request For Proposal shall become part of the resulting contract 4.7.3 The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality, and to decline to award any contract as a result of this RFP 9
