owners of the property wish to accept the nomination, they apply <br />concurrently for inclusion on the Santa Aha Register of Historical <br />Properties (current eligibility criterion requires the nominated <br />property to be currently listed. <br /> <br />If additional nominations are submitted for this year and determined <br />eligible, the Commission recommends that the announcement of the <br />award by the Historic Resources Commission be moved to August, <br />followed by the City Council presenting the award(s) to the property <br />owner(s) at the City Council's first televised meeting in September. <br />In subsequent years, the schedule for announcing and presenting <br />the awards would resume to the 'pre-established program time <br />frames. <br /> <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the proposed <br />project is exempt from further review. Categorical Exemption <br />Environmental Review No. 2002-62 will be filed for this project. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby approves the above <br />referenced amendments to the City of Santa Ana Award Program for Outstanding <br />Historic Preservation Projects. Except as expressly amended by this Resolution, City <br />Council Resolution No. 2002-022 shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the <br />City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting <br />this Resolution. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 2003. <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Joseph W.
