NEW MISCELLANEOUS FEES <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />1) Downtown Event Litter Control Deposit <br />Proposed Fee(s): $300.00 Per Event up to 3 Blocks Long <br />$100 per block (or portion of block) for events in excess of 3 blocks <br />long <br />Department: Downtown Development <br />This deposit will be collected from organizations requesting permission to hold an event <br />in the Downtown area. The deposit will be applied to applicants who leave the area in <br />an unclean condition. The deposit will offset staff and contract costs for removing litter <br />and debris remaining after the event. <br />2) Downtown Event Sidewalk Cleaning Fee <br />Proposed Fee(s): $100.00 Per Block, Per Event <br />$100 per block (or portion of block) for events in excess of 3 blocks <br />long <br />Department: Downtown Development <br />This fee will be collected from organizations requesting permission to hold an event in the <br />Downtown Area. The fee will be applied to offset staff and contract cost for steam -cleaning <br />the sidewalks after the event. <br />3) Downtown Event Street Closure Fee <br />Proposed Fee(s): $50.00 Per Block, Per Event <br />Department: Downtown Development <br />This fee is assessed to organizations requested permission to hold an event in the Downtown <br />Area. The fee will partially offset downtown staff expenses for the posting and removal of <br />street closure notifications on each and every meter within the closure area. <br />
