On motic~ off Counc~l-~n ~Ubbar~, seconded by Councilz~n Schlueter and carrie~, <br />Council approved the Preliw~nary Record of Survey 385, subject to condltic~s in <br />Pla~ing Director's Repor~ dated January 27, 1965 except that Condition $ would <br />all°w 2 entrances on Grand and: one entrance on Santa Clara as sho~n in <br />Alternatives 2 and 3; an~ waived the alley require~aent. <br /> <br />PRE. REC. OF Preltmt~a,T Record of Survey 3~9 was <br />BUA~ 389 filed By Susan P. Barrett to create <br /> two M 1 parcels south of St. Gertrude <br /> Place, east of Standard. ~ohn Hoy, <br />8~ 1~o Birch, Civil E~ineer representing the applicant, asked that waiver of <br />the alley requ/rement be ~-anted. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded By Councilman Bchlueter an~ carried, <br />C~uncil approved Prel~ainary Recor~ of Survey 389, subject to the conditions <br />outlined in the Planning Director's Report dated January 27, 1965, and granting <br />waiver of the alley requirement. <br /> <br />Council considered Preliminary Becor~ <br />of Survey 390 filed by Paul II. Ohliger <br />and Walter Go May to create two C 1, <br />B 2 and lq 1 parcels on the s~mth side <br />of 17th, east of E~lisho <br /> <br />Don Franklin, 2~50 Riverside Drive, objected to Conditions 6 and 8 under <br />Paragraph C. The p~.~w_m Director re-stated the C~Ancil/Planning Cca~issi~n <br />discussion of 1~o0 of alternative aethods of handling 16th Street so properties <br />to the west could be used for parkin~ or divided for duplexes and explained <br />the provision for cul de sacs in or,er to provide turn arounds for vehicles. <br /> <br />Xt was moved by C~u~cil~an ~ubhard, seconded by Councilman Harvey, that Council <br />approve FreLt~lnary Record of S~-~vey ~0, subject to the cowditions outlined in <br />the Planning Director's report dated January 2~, 1965. OF Council co~sidared Prel/~ Recor~ <br />BURVE~ 392 of Survey 392 filed by Shaon Waronker <br /> to create two CD parcels on the <br /> east side of Tustin, south of 17th. <br />Frank Bueche, 1621 Eo 2lst, representing the applicant, objected to Conditions <br />C~, C7, a"& D~ in the Planning Director's report regarding street improvement <br />plans for Tustin Avenue, c~truction of 33" storm drain, an~ vehicular access <br />rights. <br /> <br />The ~anager explained the need for stor~ drain an~ why the property was not <br />included in one of City's Drainage Areas. He also stated there woul~ be no <br />proble~ to withholding vehicular access rights requiranent for the present <br />time if the alley requirew~ent was not waived. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Nubbard, seconded by Councilman Gilmore and carried, <br />Council approved Preli~inary Record of Survey 392 subject to the conditio~s <br />outlined in the Planniug Director's report ~ated ~anuax~y 29, 19~5, with the <br />exception vehicular access rights in Oondition C7 would hot be require~ at <br />this time. <br />CIT~ COUNCIL - 176 - February 1~, 1965 <br /> <br /> <br />
