Hartman, Francis <br /> M. Kinney and Bill Eo Perry protesting <br />the Planning Commission's approval <br />filed by Allison Honer Co~ to utilize property as an off-street <br /> <br />parking lo~ at 1000 W. 18th~ <br /> <br />i~e Clerk reported that notice of the hearing was mailed to adjacent property <br />owners on March 25, 1965 as required by law~ that petitions signed by 47 persons <br />and 24 persons, protesting granting of the variance had been received° On <br />motion of CounciLman Hubbard~ seconded by CounciLman Schlueter and carried~ <br />Council ordered the petitions filed. <br /> <br />David Hartman~ 940 W. i9%h~ spokesman for protestants expressed concern over <br />the interpretation of the zoning law, stating the applicant at the time of <br />purchasing the property, was aware of the zoning~ and that no hardship existed. <br /> <br />Richard Honer of Allison Honer Co~, stated that hardship existed because of the <br />isolated location; that access was requested through an alley and not through <br />the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Bert Renes, 1013 Wo 18th, stated that the alley traffic was already a problem; <br />that he could use only one half of his two car garage because of the congestion. <br />There being no further testimony: the hearing was closed° <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Harvey, seconded by Councilman Hubbard and carried~ <br />Council overruled the action of the Planuing Co~mission and instructed the City <br />Attorney to prepare a resolution granting the appeal and denying Variance 2090° <br /> <br />HEARING - Hearing was opened on Appeal 157 <br />APPEAL 157 filed by Ila Eo Bryant appealing <br />(V.A. 2087) Zoning Administrator's denial of <br /> Variance 2087 to construct two <br />4-plex dwelling units on two R 2 lots at ll04 West Third. <br /> <br />i~ayor Hall stated that the Planning Commission had requested the matter be <br />referred to them since the appeal was filed prior to their having opportunity <br />to review Zoning Administrator's decision° <br /> <br />CITY COU~'CIL - 204 ~ April 5, 1965 <br /> <br /> <br />
