INSURANCE ON FiLE <br />WORK MAY PROCEED <br />UNTIL iiiiSU~NO.E,EXPIRES <br /> 1/ 1o i, <br /> <br /> FIRST AMENDMENT TO <br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT, is entered <br />into on the ~q~ day of ,'~1"/ ,2003, by and between Civic Collections, <br />Inc., a California corporation ("Contractor") and the City of Santa Aha, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"). <br /> <br />Recitals: <br /> <br />A. The parties entered into an Agreement, dated August 5, 2002, (hereinafter "said <br /> Agreement") by which Contractor has provided dog license fee collection services. <br /> <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br /> renew said Agreement for an additional one year period, increase compensation to <br /> pay for services during the extended term and amend the Scope of Services to clarify <br /> the responsibilities of the parties. <br /> <br />Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject <br />to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First <br />Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1, SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be amended by replacing Exhibit A, <br />attached to said Agreement, with a new Exhibit A-l, attached hereto. <br /> <br />Section 2, COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase the maximum <br />compensation to pay for services provided by Contractor during the extended <br />term. Said compensation shall not exceed $100,000.00 during the term from July <br />1, 2003 through June 30, 2004. <br /> <br />Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the term of said Agreement to June <br />30, 2004. <br /> <br />Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall <br />remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />// <br /> <br /> <br />
