Box 1988, M-20 <br />Santa Ana, CA 92702 <br />Subject: Proposal and Budget for Historic Resources Consulting Services, Year 2 <br />Reference: 01-0236-71-2002-102 <br />Dear Ms. DeRosa: <br />P.02 <br />Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) is pleased to submit this time and <br />materials proposal to continue to provide Historic Resources Consulting Services to the City of <br />Santa Ana. The proposal consists of a Scope of Work based on conversations between City Staff <br />and SAIC's Project Manager, Leslie Heumann, and an associated budget. It is our <br />understanding that this new Scope of Work and Budget will, upon execution, supplant and <br />replace the existing agreement between the City and SA1C. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Task 1. Categorizations. Categorize and prepare Santa Ana Register templates (i.e. approved <br />State DPR forms) for approximately 20 properties per month. These properties may include <br />properties currently on the Santa Ana Register but not yet categorized as well as properties not <br />yet on the Register. This new Task 1 represents a combination of Tasks 1, 2, and 3 of the <br />previous 2000-2001 Agreement. The following subtasks will be undertaken for each property: <br />I.I. Visit and digitally photograph site (10 minutes per site) <br />1.2. Provide preliminary categorization to Staff (10 minutes per site). <br />Deliverable: Preliminary categorizations list. <br />1.3. Research using one or more of the following sources: existing documentation such as <br />Treasures templates, survey forms, National Register forms, Downtown Walking Tour <br />brochure; building permits; library; Internet (40 minutes per site). <br />1.4. Create and write template (90 minutes per site). <br />Deliverable: Draft template (subtotal 2.5 hours per site) <br />1.5. Perform additional research per Template Committee (20 minutes per site). <br />1.6. Revise template per Template Committee (10 minutes per site).
