Box 1988, M-20 <br />Santa Ana, CA 92702 <br />Subject: Proposal and Budget for Historic Resources Consulting Services Year 3 (July 1, 2003- <br />June 30, 2004) <br />Dear Ms. DeRosa: <br />Science Applications International Corporation (SAIL) is pleased to submit this revised <br />time and materials proposal to continue to provide Historic Resources Consulting <br />Services to the City of Santa Ana. The proposal consists of a Scope of Work based on <br />conversations between City Staff and SAIC's Principal Investigator, Leslie Heumann, <br />and an associated budget. It is our understanding that this new Scope of Work and <br />budget will be executed in order to allow work to continue uninterrupted between the <br />finalization of the current Year 2 agreement (as amended) and the proposed new project, <br />which would take effect on July 1, 2003 for a one-year duration. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Task 1. Categorizations. Categorize and prepare Santa Ana Register templates (i.e., the <br />"Executive Summary" and the State of California "Primary Record" and "Building, <br />Structure, and Object Record") for an average of 7 properties per month. The templates <br />may be submitted, according to the City's schedule, on a monthly basis (7 templates) or <br />bimonthly basis (14 templates). The following sub -tasks will be undertaken for each <br />property: <br />1.1. Visit and digitally photograph site (15 minutes per site) <br />1.2. Provide preliminary categorization to Staff (15 minutes per site). <br />Deliverable: Preliminary categorizations list. <br />1.3. Research using one or more of the following sources: existing documentation <br />such as survey forms, National Register forms, tour brochures; building permits; <br />Santa Ana History Room or other library collections; Internet (45 minutes per <br />site). <br />1.4.
