It was reeved by Councilmam Brooks, seconded by Cou~cilma~ Markel, that <br />a meeting time be set up that does not comflict with amy other meetimg <br />time. The motion carried, with Councilmam Burk voting No. <br /> <br />SIDEWALK NUISANCE Mrs. Janice Doer, 912 N. Lowell, <br /> referred to her request of 3 <br /> months ago for investigatiom of <br /> sidewalk at cormer of Broadway <br />amd 2md. The City Attormey stated that a request must be initiated by <br />a department. The Public Works Director reported that the store owmers <br />had beem comtacted and the departmemt woul~ follow up agaim. Coumcil <br />asked that a report be made at the meeting of September 20th. <br /> <br />HARBOR DIST. TAX It was moved by Councilman <br /> Markel that Council go on <br /> record before the B~ of <br /> Supervisors as opposed to <br />the tax rate of 10~ cents for maintenance of the Harbor District. <br />Oouncilmam Brooks stated that he thought action was premature until <br />legality had been determined by the Attormey General.
