BOND RELEASE Acting on the Public Works Director's <br /> report of satisfactory completion of <br /> improvements, on motion of Co~acilman <br /> Markel, seconded by Councilman GiLmore <br />and carried, Council authorized release of bonds for Tract 4471, Edinger and <br />Grand Avenues. <br /> <br />FINAL TRACT MAP Final Map~ Tract 5953 was filed by <br /> Security Fore Corporation to create <br /> 60 lots west of Bristol and south of <br /> Warner. It was moved by CounciLman <br />Brooks, seconded by Councilman Markel and carried, that Council approve Tract <br />Map 5953, accept the dedications thereon~ and authorize execution of the sub- <br />division agreement, subject to approval of the City Attorney. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTIONS Del Michael, 917 S. Toland introduced <br /> to Council the Southwest Santa Ana <br /> Homeowner's new President, Mr. Stanley <br /> Hadsell~ 4122 W. Kent, and his son <br />Del Michael, Jr., now President of the Southwest Homeowner's Junior organization. <br /> <br />Mr. Michael pointed out in regard to the Vose amendment application that he <br />felt the opponents had asked for a continuance of the hearing at the September <br />20th meeting. <br /> <br />BARRIER REMOVAL Bill Van Riper, 2902 Fernwood Drive, <br /> speaking for signers of a petition <br /> submitted by residents living <br /> adjacent to the C. W. Todd property <br />at the western end of W. Orange Road, protested the removal of a City barrier <br />by C. W. Todd Jr., opening W. Orange to his property. He was informed that <br />the matter was scheduled for the November 1st meeting. <br /> <br />FEATHER RIVER Councilman Markel stated that he had <br />PROJECT visited the Feather River Project and <br /> had been impressed by it. He asked <br /> that a letter be written to Governor <br />Brown suggesting that the State post the area of the Project with informative <br />signs and placards, showing the project is being paid for by the California <br />taxpayers. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />There being no further business to come <br />before the Council, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 9:10 p.m. on motion of <br />CounciLman Gilmore, seconded by <br />Councilman Markel and carried. <br /> <br />DORIS M.
