TAXI OPERATOR'S Hearing was opened on appeal filed <br />LICENSE by Robert E. Cooper from Chief <br />~ of Police's refusal to issue a <br /> permit tocperate a taxicab. The <br />Clerk reported that notice was mailed to the appellant and Chief of Police in <br />accordance with the Municipal Code. It was moved by Councilman McMichael~ <br />seconded by CounciLman Markel and carried, that appeal be denied. <br /> <br />ALIGNMENT ~ Reg Wood, Real Estate Consultant, <br />EDINGER & GATES presented alternate plans for <br />~.: the intersection of Edinger and <br /> Gates and requested Council not <br />to approve Fotmtain Valley's plans. Mr. Wayne Osborn, Engineer from Fountain <br />Valley, requested Gates be closed for reasons of traffic safety. Mr. Stan <br />Hadsell, representing the Southwest Homeowners Association, expressed support <br />for the plans of the two cities. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman B~ooks, seconded by Councilman Burk and carried, <br />that Council adopt the proposal of the City of Fountain Valley as recon~nended <br />by the Director of Public Works Ron Wolford. <br /> <br />TENT.
