Cowger urging support of and membership in Inter-American Municipal Organization was tabled until the City Manager's return. APPLICATION TO USE '~ On motion of Councilman Griset, seconded PUBLIC PROPERTY by Councilman Herrin and carried, Council approved Application for Special License to Use Public Property by E1 Salvador Pentecostal Church, 9229 Pioneer Blvd., Santa Fe Springs, to preach the gospel on Sunday afternoons from 3:00 to ~:00 P.M. at ~th and French Streets. CITY PARKING STAT~M LEASE ~ On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded AG~W~EI~TS by Councilman Brooks and carried, Council authorized lease agreements, for parking stalls in the City owned parking lot, with Mission Viego Lighting and with the Book Center, the rental rate on the parking stalls to be not less than the minimum monthly rate for private parking. ORANGE COU~ WATER DISTRICT Letter from Orange County Water District regarding their offer, at the District's expense, to defend anyone within the District who is served with a cross complaint in regard to the 1963 legal action agaimst all upstream parties who produce water frc~ the Santa Aha River system above Prado Dam, was presented. On motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Griset and carried, the Orange County Water District was authorized to act for the City of Santa Ana in the defense of cross ptaints~ if any filed, at District's expense.
