The Clerk reported <br />notice of the hearing published with affidavit on file and no c~m,mications <br />received. There being no response to the Mayor's call for testimony, the <br />hearing was closed. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman ~rooks and carried, <br />that the application be approved and the City Attorney instructed to prepare <br />an ordinance to reclassify the property according to Exhibit A. <br /> <br />APPEAL 19~ - TREVORROW Wea~ing was opened on au appeal filed <br />VARIANCE 67-55 bY Raymond G. Trevorrow appealing Condi- <br /> tion 2 denying access to 15th Street in <br />the Zoning Administrator's approval of Variance 67-55 for expansion of an <br />existing parking lot and driveway to 15th Street. The clerk reported notice <br />of the hearing mailed to adjacent property owners with certificate on file <br />and no con~unications received. <br /> <br />Mr. Trevorrow described proposed use of the parking by employees of the <br />C.aliTornia Department of EmploYment for exit only by approximately 20 cars <br />a day. Speaking in opposition were John Noreno, Lucille Frances, 1429 North <br />English, Wendell Kessee, 1917 W. lSth, and Mrs. William O~en, 2016 W. 15th. <br />There being no ~urther testimony, the hearing was closed. The Planning <br />DSrector recalled that several years ago the property on 17th Street between <br />English and College was zoned commercial amd it was determined at that time <br />that with the participation of the l~.'ta--ing Cnmmission and Council and citizens <br />in the area that no access would be available to' 15th Street. <br /> <br />On motion of Co~nciiman Eerrin, second~ 'by Councilman Carlson and carried, <br />the City Council upheld the action of .the Zoning Administrator and denied <br />the appeal. <br /> <br />TUSTIN ~ND 4th S.W.
