Flippin from the Police <br /> Chief's denial of a permit to operate <br />a taxicab, with the Clerk reporting notice of the hearing mailed as required <br />by the Municipal Code and no communications received. The appellant was <br />present and represented himself, urging approval of the permit. There being <br />no further testimony, the hearing was closed. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Eerrin and carried, <br />that the permit to operate a taxicab in the City be denied. <br /> <br />WEED ABATEMENT Hearing was opened on the Street Super- <br /> intendent's report of costs for weed <br /> abatement, with the Clerk reporting <br />notice posted as required by law, evidence on file, and no communications <br />received.
