Daisy St. <br />Santa Ana, CA 92703 <br /> <br />ATTENTION: NABIL SABA <br /> <br />REFRENCE: <br /> <br />PROPOSAL FOR ENGINEERING / CONSULTING SERVICES <br />WALNUT PUMPING STATIONS <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Saba: <br /> <br />As requested, this proposal is for engineering services to prepare shop drawings and specifications to <br />upgrade the WALNUT PUMPING STATION as part of a prepared bid package by the City of Santa <br />Aha for solicitation of bids from various selected prime contractors. <br /> <br />Site Description: [] Proposed Construction [] Existing Installation <br /> <br />The facility is located at 723 W. Walnut St. in Santa Ana, CA. The facility has an existing power <br />distribution transformer, which is owned by Southern California Edison. The rated current and available <br />fault current fall within the capabilities of the Power Distribution equipment, as displayed on the <br />nameplate of the equipment, presently installed at the site. This facility has a small mount of singie- <br />phase loads installed. The three-phase loads are primarily pumping related. <br /> <br />Scope of Work: [] Design Study [] Troubleshooting/Analysis <br /> <br />The scope of work for this project included in this proposal is as follows: <br />1. Conduct principle of operation study of the existing pump station and make recommendations for <br /> changes. The study will describe how the modified pump station will be operated to cover the entire <br /> range of pumping operations. A California Registered Engineer will complete this study. <br />2. Prepare bid drawings: <br /> · Existing layout of pumps, motors, electrical control room and power distribution. <br /> · Existing single line for the power distribution including utility transformer. <br /> · Demolition plan of all equipment to removed or relocated.
