Councilman C~rlson expressed a conflict of interest, was excused by the City Council, and left the Council Chamber. Frank Bueche, representing the applicant, requested that the application be withdrawn. It was mOved by Councilma~ Markel, seconded by Councilman Nerrin, that the request be granted. In response to Mayor McNichael's question, the City Attorney stated that in order to initiate proceedings on this zone change again, it would be necessary for the applicant to file a new application. The motion carried on roll call vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Herrin, Brooks, Griset, Markel, Thurman, McMichael None Carlson Councilman Carlson returned to the Council Chamber and took his place at the Council table.
