Cesar Cedeno announced that staff received a letter of resignation from Santa <br />Ana Empowerment Corporation (SAEC) Director Jim Davis. Mr. Cedeno stated <br />that a plaque recognizing Mr. Davis's service has been prepared and will be <br />presented to him at a later date. Mr. Davis represented the One-Stop Capital <br />Shop SAEC seat. <br /> <br />1sT ANNUAL FEZ TAX CREDIT WORKSHOP presented by Melissa Alva <br /> <br />Melissa Alva announced that, on May 8, 2003, staff held the First Annual <br />Empowerment Zone Tax Credit Workshop at the Delhi Community Center. <br />Approximately seventy individuals, representing over 30 companies, attended the <br />2-hour workshop. <br /> <br />HUD TAX CREDIT WORKSHOP/TRAINING presented by Maria Yanez <br /> <br />On May13-14, 2003, staff attended an Empowerment Zone Tax Credit <br />Workshop/Training sponsored by the United States Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development.
