On motion of Counci]~A~ ~rooks~ seconded by <br />Councilman Herrin and carried, Council appro~d <br />the following: <br /> <br />Agreement with Pacific Outdoor Advertis~ug Co. and Mrs. Geraldine Andrews <br />regarding encroaching sign at 1631 W. 1st. <br /> <br />Agreement with United States Coast Guard and All~-~ Enterprises, Inc. <br />regarding encroaching sign at 608 W. 17th. <br /> <br />Agreement with Frank Graham and Jessie O. Cody regarding encroaching sign <br />at 1013 N. Harbor. <br /> <br />CHANGE OBDER No. 1 to contract with Beylik Drilling, Inc. <br /> Project 67-1, construction of Wells Number <br /> 26 and 27, increasing $6~7.64 was approved <br />on motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilmen Carlson and carried. <br /> <br />WARNER MEDIAN LANDSCAPE Execution of agreement with the City of Tustin <br /> for installation and maintenance of median <br /> landscape, Warner Avenue between Newport <br />Freeway and Red Hill Avenue, was authorized on motion of Councilman Griset~ seconded <br />by Councilman Carlson and carried. <br /> <br />COUI$1~ FACILITY A letter from South Main Improvement Association <br /> opposing certain sites as an Orange County <br /> Operations Center was presented. It was moved <br />by Councilman Griset~ seconded by Councilman Brooks, that the letter be ordered filed. <br /> <br />Councilman Markel and Janice Boer spoke in opposition to locating County offices <br />outside the Civic Center. The motion to order the communication filed wasthen <br />adopted. <br /> <br />ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSE <br />APPLICATIONS <br /> <br />License Applications: <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by <br />Councilman Carlson and carried, Council <br />ordered filed the following Alcoholic Beverage <br /> <br />Royal Roman Inn, 1502 E. First, On Sale General, Person Transfer; <br />Sarinana Liquor Store, 2216 W. Fifth~ Off Sale General, Person Transfer. <br /> <br />VARIANCE AND CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT <br /> been filed, were ordered filed on motion of <br />CounciLman Griset, seconded by Councilman Herrin and carried, for the following: <br /> <br />Decisions made by the Planning C~ission or <br />the Zoning Administrator, where no appeal has <br /> <br />VA 67-116~ LEONARD - construct 120 unit apartment development in the A 1 <br /> District at 2801 N. B~istol - APPROVED; <br />VA 67-117, BARKER - establishboarding house in R i District at <br /> 1916 S. Cedar - APPROVED; <br />CUP 67-13, FAIRNAVEN MEMORIAL PARK & SANTOHA COo - construct addition <br /> to cemetery facilities in A 1 District at 1702 E. Fairhaven - APPROVED; <br />CUP 67-14, BOSWELL - construct 124 bed home for the aged in R I District <br /> at 2121 E.
