The Model 51 always keeps operators in the comfort zone for task productivity.
The expanded size desktop offers more functional workspace. Envelopes are
opened widely and presented at an ideal angle for visibility and extraction. The
optional motorized Adjustable-Height Work Surface also allows every operator to
work at the optimum height.

And, like all of our current family of equipment, the OPEX Model 51 is
networkable, utilizing the OPEX Networking SolutionTM.

Model 51 Workflow Description

Here's how the Model 51 works:

· ') The optional Performance Control Center allows for job and operator set-up
to be accomplished with push-key ease.

· -) The Model 51 accepts mail, in varying sizes or intermixed, from the feed
tray.

-) A single envelope is positioned onto the transport, cut on the right end if
desired and then top cut.

· -) The envelope, opened on one or two sides, is delivered to the operator and
positioned for good visibility.

· -) The envelope's contents are removed and sorted as necessary. The
program then checks the envelope and cycles the machine when the
contents have been removed.

') The advanced thickness profiling candler performs a second check of the
envelope for contents. If not empty, a warning light alerts the operator to
check again.

-) When the candling mode is activated "clear", the envelope is sent to the
built-in trash receptacle for disposal.

'-) The machine cycles again when the contents of the next envelope are
removed.

· -) The optional Performance Control Center counts envelopes processed and
records operator and job data.

5
