regarding Possessory Interest Taxes on Non-Profit Corporations. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Brooks and carried, <br />Council went on record as opposing S. Bo 393~ taxation of motion pictures, <br />and any other exemption which makes no provision for replacement revenue. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Griset and carried, <br />to instruct the staff to present a report June 17th regarding Santa Ana's <br />joining the California Peace Officers Association. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Griset, that <br />Council go on record as supporting A. B. 1331 regarding Joint Powers; <br />Revenue Bonds; Parks. The' ~otion was lost by the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Brooks, Carlson, Griset <br />Markel, Thurman, Herrin <br />McMichael <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by CounciLman Griset and carried, <br />Council went on record as opposing So B. 772 regarding Airports; Parking <br />Facilities Required. <br /> <br />AGENDA O~DER On motion of Councilman Carlson, seconded <br /> by CouncilmR~ Griset and carried, Council <br /> agreed to consider numbered items on the <br />Agenda out of their regular order so that people in the audience who were <br />present for certain items could be heard. <br /> <br />TENTATIVE TRACT MAP 6505 Tentative Tract Map 6505, filed by <br /> Covington Brothers Construction Company <br /> creating !10 lots between Fairview and <br />Greenville and between Talbert and Sunflower was approved subject to conditions <br />in Planning Director's Report dated May 24, 1968, on motion of Councilman <br />Carlson, seconded by Councilman Griset and carried. <br /> <br />T~TATIVETRACT MAP 6629 <br /> <br />Fairhaven east of Glassell. <br /> <br />Council considered Tentative Tract <br />Map 6629 filed by. Martin Builders, <br />Inc., creating 20 lots south of <br /> <br />Harry Martin, of Nartin Builders, Inc., requested that Condition 13 in Planning <br />Director's report dated May 29, 1968 be changed to limit 25-foot temporary <br />construction easement to one year, indicati~ egress and ingress beyond the <br />one year period would be granted if restoration made of any damage. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Carlson and carried, <br />Tentative Tract Map 6629 was approved subject to conditions in Planning <br />Director's report dated May 29, 1968, wi~h revisions in Condition 13 to <br />set a time limit of one year on the 25-foot wide temporary construction <br />easement; and alley requirement was waived.
