CROSSWALK Report from staff on letter from Martin <br /> Jo Lockney, Sro, requestiug an additional <br /> pedestrian crossing on 17th between Linwood <br />and Tustin was ordered filed, on motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by <br />Councilma~ Griset and carrie~l. <br /> <br />SALA~TE.~ On mOtion of Councilman Carlson, seconded <br /> by Counci]mA~ Griset and carried, Council <br /> approved Manager's report dated May 28, <br />1968, recmmzending increases for meritorious service. <br /> <br />RETIREMENT CONTRACT ORDINANCE NS-918 OF TEE CI~f COUNCIL <br /> OF T~E CI~i-T OF SANTA AMA AUTHORIZING <br /> AN A~DME~T TO THE CONTRACT BETW~ <br />'£-~. CIT~ C0~NCIL A~D 'r~m BOARD OF ADMIF/STRATION OF THE CALIF0~IA STATE <br />E~T~fEES' RETIREMENT SYST~ was presented for second read~ and adoption, <br />and it was noted that a two-thirds vote of COuncil was req,.,ired by State <br />law. Councilman Thurman <br />wes absent. Following the Pledge of Allegianc~ to,se Flag, the Invocation <br />was delivered by Captain Tcm Cisar of The Salvation Army. <br /> <br />Mayor McMichael and Vice Mayor Herrin disqualified themselves on the next <br />item of business, and Mayor McMichael appointed Councilman Brooks as Chairman <br />in their absence.
