RESOLUTION ~-9~ C01~ECTIOR The City Attorney pointed out the need for a correction in the legal description under PARCEL 5 A in RESOLL'~IDN 68-9~ A~H(~TIZi~G CO~D~ATION OF REAL PROPERTI FOR ~ WIDENING OF S.:¥zm~r~m~TH STRr~£ BETWEEN BA~e~ STI~£ AND T~E SANTA ANA FREE~AYo It was moved by Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Thur~an and unanimously carried, to make the correction as follows: 'PARCEL 5A: An easement for street purposes over the Southerly 2RoO0 feet of that portion of that 7.~ acre parcel of land shown on a map of Wiley's Additic~ to Santa Ana City, City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 1, Page 86, of ~iscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the North line of Seventeenth Street as shown on said map and the East line of Spurgeon Street, as said street is described in deed ~o the City of Santa Ana, recorded November 26, 1~06~ in Book 139, Page 111 of Deeds; thence North 55.00 feet along said east line of Spurgeon Street; thence East 158.00 feet parallel with said North line of Seventeenth Street; thence Sonth 55.00 feet parallel with said East line of Spurseon Street to said North line of Seventeenth Street; thence West 158.00 feet to the point of beginning." HARBOR DISTRICT It was moved by Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilmau Herrln and carried, to authorize reimbursement to Councilman ~arkel for expenses incurred for recent trip to Sacramento to represent the City Council at the hearing on Orange County HarbOr District Dill. On motion of Councilman Carlson, seconded by Councilman Brooks and carried, Council authorized a: representative off the City Council to attend the next hearing in Sacramento to support the Orange County League of Cities' position on dissolution of the Orange County Harbor District, at City expense. POLXCE CC~JTER SERVICE Acting on the recommendation of the City Manager, Council cancelled agreement with Tabulating Technicians, Inc. for police cc~uter service, on motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Griset and carried. At 5:30 PoMo, the ~eeting was recessed to 7:30 PoMo, at which time it was reconvened with all Councilmen present.
