In no event shall the application of this Career <br />Development Incentive Program result in an individual being eligible to earn more than <br />twenty-five (25) salary rate ranges (approximately 12.5%) above his or her current monthly <br />base salary step. <br /> <br />An incumbent in one of the classes listed below will be paid at a rate set ten (10) <br />salary rate ranges (approximately 5%) above his or her then current base monthly <br />salary step for each of the following: valid registration as a Registered Engineer by <br />the State of California and valid registration as a Structural Engineer by the State of <br />Califomia (a total of twenty (20) salary rate ranges (approximately 10%) for <br />possession of both).
