LIBRARY SITE SUGGESTION Councilman Markel suggested that the <br /> fire station at Broadway and Edinger <br /> could be used as a library, when it is <br />replaced with a new fire station~ by moving the building northward to allow <br />for parking; and suggested that the new fire station could be built at the <br />southeast corner of Van Ness and Edinger. The City ~anager stated this could <br />be included in a study of sites and cost comparisons. <br /> <br />IMPROVEk~'~' DISTRICTS Councilman Brooks noted that there are <br /> certain areas in the City lacking in <br /> improvements whiCh could be aided by <br />the f®rmation of assessmemt districts as indicated in the Community Relations <br />Report.
