Work includes site and grading plans for new structures; PS&E packages for parking lot recon- struction; design of street rehabilitation (Federally funded); PS&E package for the construction of a new $600,000 recreation facility at Thornton Park, including architectural, civil, structural, electrical and mechanical; drainage evaluatons and recommendations; traf- fic control plans on two major arterial streets for street widening, rehabilita- tion, and bridge construction; struc- tural analysis of existing facilities; and project management to identify and manage specialty subconsultants. To date, task orders total $280,000 and have included the following projects: · New Castle-Themed Recreation Room/Restroom at Thornton Park · Study (evaluation) of Two Parking Structures at the Civic Center · Structural Review of a Gazebo Structure · Structural review of ceiling failure at main library · Rehabilita6on Reports and PS&E packages for the refurbishment of 4 fountains on the Civic Center Parking structures · Reconstruction of planter at Plaza of the Sun, located on top of the Civic Center Parking structure · Jerome Park Ball Field Lighting Parking Lot Reconstruction, Fire Stations 4 & 8 · First Street Rehabilitation · Traffic Control Plans for McFadden Avenue · Traffic Control Plans for Bristol Street Capital Improvement Program Management Tustin, California City of Tustin 300 Centennial Way Tustin, CA 92680 Dana Kasdan, Engineering Manager (714) 573-3150 DMJM+HARRIS is providing project management and plan checking services on behalf of the City of Tusfin for man- agement of maj or transportation projects. Working as an extension of City staff, DMJM+HARRIS has located one per- manent and one part-time engineer at the City's offices. This staff is aug- mented as necessary to meet the project needs identified by City staff. Projects have totaled over $36 million in construction and include Edinger Av- enue Widening, NewportAvenuelSR-55 Ramp Reconfiguration, Newport Av- enue Bridge at Edinger and Tustin Ranch Road Bridge at Edingur. Work scope consists of management of design con- sultants and tracking of project cost and schedule; and coordination of design and right-of-way issues with City Engineer and management. Respoasibilities include approval of consultant invoices and change orders as well as preparing City Council agenda items. Plan Checking Services City of Brea City of Brea 1 Civic Center Plaza Brea, CA 92821 Philip Wray, City Engineer (714) 990-7763 DMJM+HARRIS was retained by the City of Brea to provide plan checking services for various land development projects. These plans typically consist of road, drainage, traffic and utility improvements. Special features may include retain- ing walls as necessary for the proposed road improvements. Working as an extension of City staff the DMJM+HARRIS team will provide the services on a task order basis. DMJM+HARRIS willreview the plans at the preliminary stage, 65%, 90% and final stage. This systematic review will help ensure that the construction documents are prepared and conform to City Standards. MU01-559 2
